You will agree that Chardin is different form anything you've seen before if you visit the Chardin 12 restaurant. It's a nice place to spend time with friends as well as for family dinners and business meetings.
Personnel in white aprons will meet you in a friendly manner and you will see the service culture is quite high here It's a plus for them indeed. Another plus goes to the interior designer... Shelves with old books, boxes, jugs and pitchers, musical instruments and toy-ships high on the wall where the ceiling begins (it's made of brick by the way). Sewing and typing machines are hanging on the wall... Brown piano standing left from the entrance with a big black and white photo on it. The image shows two "Khanuma" looking ladies, it's indeed a very nice photo. I also noticed the huge green lampshade over the big table (tablecloths are white and tables are always lain). All these have a particular old Tbilisi flavor and my imagination was not obstructed even by the bar with sparkling glasses and bottles.
You can enjoy live music at the restaurant everyday from 21:00-24:00 (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday - The Kereum band; during day hours - Nino Jaiani (piano); other week days - Paata Andriadze, Valeri Peletkian and Otar Saganelidze).
Everything is very tasty here. Chardin 12 also has to offer a huge variety of beverages and alcoholic drinks. I liked the name of one of the cocktails very much: "rato? mito" ("Why?Cause") It's hard to resist the temptation of such a name.
