"Imereti" is one of the most prestigious restaurants in Tbilisi. The most presentation took place on 2 April, 1998 and already next day the restaurant was full of people. It has been crowded since then.
"Imereti" is the winner of many awards. It won a gold medal for 4 nominations out of 5 in the competition of Tbilisi restaurants held in 2003. The restaurant won the nominations: the best interior, the best service, the best cuisine and the best music.
The interior is in the classical style. Despite the quite large hall (it finds room for 150-300 visitors and is full of people) there is cosy environment in the restaurant. Visitors feel themselves very at home here. That's why they frequent "Imereti" with their families, you can say that a kind of "family evenings" often takes place here.
Service is indeed of high quality. Highly skilled service staff hosts the visitors with a real Imereti-like hostability. And the cooks from Imereti satisfy even the people of best taste. The cuisine is only Georgian. "Imereti" will host you with delicious, Georgian dishes seasoned in the way of Imereti. Besides each product (except fish) is brought from Imereti, always fresh.
Music is best, too, only live. "Imereti" has got its own band of 12 singers. On one side of the main hall there is a huge stage where Georgian Folk Dance Company of the restaurant and band of singers host a show every evening especially for you. And only in restaurant "Imereti" plays the unique band the Ksovrelis "Sionari" every evening only for you.
The beauty of the restaurant is its yard. Getting a glimpse of it it becomes clear why the name of the restaurant is "Imereti". It is a typical yard of Imereti with Imereti-like wooden houses. Nothing is better than sitting here in summer - thanks to the fir-trees and two artificial waterfalls the air is always pleasantly cool and fresh. there are one big and three small wooden houses in the yard - also halls for 80 and 200 visitors. On one side there is a tiny bullock cart from Imereti. And there are a large stage and a dance floor nearby. And there is a beautiful roe deer (which was brought here baby). At the further end of the yard there are some more dining compartments and a beautiful fountain. In the restaurant there are 14 dining compartments in total.
In "Imereti" there is everything for you to experience the utmost charm of Imereti. Come to visit and enjoy yourselves.
