MORNING PROGRAM
The International Preschool focuses on the educational formation of children from 2-5 years of age, offering a high reliable level of education "Calvert Program", to make preschoolers ready for their future school years.
The school teachers are trained to use the program, which provides a complete curriculum designed to appeal to different learning styles.
2 Year old Program
The two year old program will work in the development of the child motor abilities, while working the concepts of around his immediate environment. The child will be introduced to his/her first basic math vocabulary.
Pre-Kinder
The work-play Pre-Kindergarten course develops readiness for reading through vocabulary-building, and many other activities and exercises. The child also learns to associate ideas, build logical sequences, and strengthen comprehension and memory skills.
Math activities includes numbers 1 through 10, also gain a basic math vocabulary, simple measurements, and patterns.
Overall, the child will enjoy a year of guided, fun developmental activities as teachers work together to awaken a love of learning.
Kinder
The program emphasizes short vowel and consonant sound, classifying, and rhyming. Math studies will include basic additions and subtractions. Numbers from 1 to 31, shapes and problem solving.
Lessons in science, poetry, history, geography, and art introduce age-appropriate topics.
This well-rounded program maintains high level with lots of music, arts and crafts, and learning games.
AFTERNOON PROGRAM
The Language Center offers to children from 4-10 years of age a program focused in teaching through games a second language (English and Russian). The Language Center operates Monday through Friday 4:30pm to 6:30pm.
SUMMER PROGRAM
This program is designed to teach children 4 to 10 years old a new language (English) in a fun and entertaining environment. Besides the structured learning, the children will participate in playgroups, which help them to learn and retain their new language through games, music and lots of laughter, thereby enjoying the learning process.
