It's for the first time that I saw the interior so much corresponding with the name. You will see a very true analogue of Russian Izba (peasant's house), with all its decorations, wooden tables and chairs, spoons, menu and personnel dressed in national Russian dresses. Russian "Balalaika" is placed on a window-sill. Accordion is hanging on the wall. The painted walls in the first hall remind of Russian Birchwood (it looks like black and white tree trunks). I had a feeling I was sitting in this house in the middle of the woods and just dreamt away after ordering tasty food. It's a very pleasant feeling!
The menu is rich: soups, cold breakfast, salads, hot dishes, 40 different Russian pancakes from which 15 are fasting. I liked pancakes with condensed milk (sgushchobka) and walnuts very much. You can also take away these pancakes. Don't worry they will not get cold thanks to special thermal packaging which remains warm for two hours.
If you like Russian "Borshch", "Ukha" and "Vareniki" I advise not to go anywhere else. "Teremok" is always there to welcome its guests.
In other words 5 for the interior design, 5 for the service, 5 for the cuisine and 5 for the prices. Provided the 5 is the highest grade.
"Teremok" - the reason to start a conversation and finish it pleasantly.
