    3 Day Pilgrim Tour


    Pilgrim Tour for 3 days is one of the shortest trip you can do in Georgia for visiting sightseeing.
    During the trip you will be able oldest Christian orthodox churches and to be acquainted with Georgian culture and Art.
    Tour description:
    Day 1 : Transfer from Kutaisi International Airport /
    Tour will continue to Samtskhe Javakheti region. Visit:
    Ubisa Church –(XI century) ; Green Monastery (XI century monk monastery )
    Drive to Akhaltsikhe
    Overnight in Akhaltsikhe Hotel
    Day 2 : Zarzma / Chulevi/ Safara / Vardzia
    After breakfast tour will start from Akhaltsikhe and will drive to Zarzma monastery
    Zarzma :  IX century monk Serapion assemble the monastery , he was existing  there from 850 and built church in 861-868 years .
    Chulevi : In XI th century Chulevi Monastery was the centre of Christian orthodox . Here existed the monk Stephane Chuleveli .
    After that you will drive to Safara monastery complex
    Safara : Monastery complex is from the middle ages .
    Vardzia:  ( XI Century) – monastery is located at the 1300 m from sea level . Here is dining rooms from that time, warehouses , 25 wine cellar and 185 clay Wessel for wine.
    Drive from Vardzia to Akhaltsikhe and overnight in Akhaltsikhe hotel
    Day 3:  Kutaisi
    After breakfast drive to Kutaisi .  Visit sightseeing:
    Bagrati cathedral: ( XI century) – in 2013 finished reconstruction of the church . And nowadays it is hosting visitors with new shape .
    Gelati monastery complex -   Gelati contains the Virgin Mary , St. Nicholas and St. George's Church . Academy was a cultural and religious center. Gelati Monastery was founded by King David the Builder XII s.-shi. A portrait of King David's tomb and the remains of the temple of the temple entrance. Also in the church of XII century - a mosaic icon “Virgin Mary with baby ."


    Motsameta Monastery - (VIII-XI cc. ) Is located between two rivers near Kutaisi . VIII c - a . Here the brothers David and Konstantine Mkheidze Arabs were killed because they refused to convert to Islam. The old church was destroyed. Set current church was built in the XI century by King Bagrat - in . Motsameta monastery means " The monastery of martyrs". Their relics are kept in the monastery.

    Drive to the old capital of Georgia - Mtskheta, first point will be cross monastery situated on the top of the mountain and from there is  fantastic view to the city Mtskheta , that’s the point where two rivers Aragvi and Mtkvari meats each other . after that drive to  see Svetitskhoveli Cathedral Church, (11th century), close to Svetickhoveli is another church called : Samtavro  (11th - 13th centuries.

    Day 4:  Kakheti
    Drive to Kakheti - the motherland of wine. Visit Davit Gareji Monastery complex. the rock-cut monastery complex from 6th century The site is known as Udabno of Gareja or Davit Gareja Desert.  After that drive to Bodbe monastery (6th - 7th centuries) where St. Nino's cemetery lies, Visit Signaghi – called Love City mwhere you can have a walking tour
    Drive back to Tbilisi

    Tbilisi City Tour / First destination of Tbilisi excursion is modern Trinity cathedral, Built in 1995-2004 years. Tour will continue Metekhi Church (13th century)  visit   Sulphur baths (Middle Ages),with the roap way visit  Narikala Fortress (4th century) , walk in old tbilisi streets and visit Sioni Cathederal (7th - 19th centuries) Bazilika of Anchiskhati, (6th - 18th centuries)
